Crooked Zipper has created a mobile tool, Art Book Cart, to engage communities in literature through art and Ready, a guide for caregivers to help get children ready for school and life through learning and play, and partners with local literacy nonprofits to provide hands-on activities.
Alex is a mixed Islander who creates block prints, felts wool, and makes ceramics. She enjoys climbing, playing board games, making stuff up in the kitchen, and adventures of all kinds. She lives with her husband and their furry creatures in St. Paul, MN.
